A great starter set of pastels;Of 32, 48 or 64 colours . The colours are vivid and brilliant and although i would say they are great for student or artist they are fade resistant rather than completely lightfast. Perfect for starting out with pastel painting, lots of colour choice at an economical price. Smooth to the touch, i like the square edges for mark making. The pastels can be used together with other art materials and by rubbing the pastel colours into one another you can achieve wonderful colour nuances.
